SO we got one of these "Idea" things out here and it should be fun. We played through a game of the old school Oregon Trail, while recording everything that happened, and now are going to write journal entries to corespond with the events. We have a background story to cover it and it should make for some intresting reading. The entire thing will be in journal entry format and made it segments. I am excited

I have aquired, through no way of paying myself, XM radio on my computer (and not completely illegally either). Hurray for 5 different techno stations

I have to learn a song in Hawaiian and I'm debating whether to memorize it or cop out and just read it off a paper

O'opu nui tewetewe
Ta'a mai ana tewetewe
Paa i ka lani tewetewe
Tooheoheo tewetewe

Teketeke tewe tewetewe

O'opu nui tewetewe
Pa'a i ka lani tewetewe
Ke 'oni nei tewetewe
Kuupaka nei tewetewe

Teketeke tewe tewetewe

O'opu nui tewetewe
Te tomo nei tewetewe
I ka 'upena tewetewe
A kaaua tewetewe

Teketeke tewe tewetewe+

O'opu nui tewetewe
E akahele tewetewe
O hemo a'e nei tewetewe
Pa'a 'ole iaa tewetewe

(It's about a goby fish in Hawaii but really it's just about sex *runs off giggling like a school girl*)
(PS there is a hula to go with it that i get to teach the class *giggle*)

I went to the house where the shooting had taken place for the memorial and it was one of those undescribable experiences. There is such a feeling of family and loss going on there. Talked to the parents of one of the girls who died and they said that they are glad that she was part of a community that cared so much. The memorial its self has to be one of the most beutiful things I've ever seen. A simple picture could not convey the buety that it carried, it would be something that you need to experience first hand. It was truely what love looks likes.

A quick rundown from Sakuracon/Hobo Experience 2006
(Some, or probably better put "Most", of these things are in poor cronological order simply because I have a horrid memory and no schedule infront of me)

Friday
-Wake up at ~4:50 AM to go hop on the bus
-Nearly forget my hat and run back to the dorm to grab it
-~5:15 AM Barely make the 1 to Downtown
-Catch the 594 to Seattle
-Wait in a line I don't need to be in for an hour because Allen didn't know how to pre register
~8:00 AM Pick up my pass for Sakura-Con
-Wander around for awhile
-Discover just how fun it is to "People Watch"
-Duck and weave throughout the convention, visiting rooms, playing games, sticking my head into a few panels
-Attend the openning cerimonies, which were kinda boring
-Made some soup using a water heater. We didn't quite plan on how to open a can without a can openner and ad a "Whiley Cayote" moment as we repeatidly stabbed it with a spoon
-Attended "The Rules of Attraction: Your guide to con flirtation" which was the most hilarious/ricockulous thing ever
-Decided the AMV contest was garbage
-Got Smashed at Soul Cal 3. It just wasn't my night at all
-Had a Ramen Dinner
-Walked down to Walgreens to fetch food for for some of our hungry companions.
-Ate Chef Boy-ar-dee ravioli and meatballs straight out of the can (this time with little pull tabs on them) infront of some really -fancy/expensive looking restraunt in a small Seattle Upscale mall place
-Went to the first dance of the Con. It wasn't the most kickin' but it was fun to be able to hit the dance floor
-Fell asleep in the back of one of the viewing rooms for the night

Saturday (Even through technically Saturday began during the dance but whatever!)
-Woke up to some really odd anime about a highschool basket ball team
-Went to the Penny Arcade Panel, which was the most hilarious thing ever
-Ran into Jessica
-Went for a walk around Seattle with Jessica, and we found the most delicous pizza ever (outside of Italy that is)
-Checked out the Anime Dating Game
-Got very disturbed by the anime dating game
-Left the anime dating game
-Visited Taylor
-Everyone had dinner with Taylor, her boyfriend, and some of his friends
-Her boyfriend picked up the tab, do thank him for me Taylor, was nice of him
-Walked back to the con to go to the second dance
-Ran into Jimni Cricket and I got to talk to her about some issues (Which is a different story entirely, and some of you probably know what it was, but it was nice to relate it with someone)
-Got into the dance early because we had the hook up with the security
-Complained about garbage J-Pop with no dance beat to dance to
-Tripped the conga line multable times (I fucking hate that conga line)
-All the minors got kicked out at 1 and Jimni started spinning
-Danced pretty hard for her hour long set
-Went back to sleep in the viewing room
-Was awakened by security telling me that I couldn't sleep there
-Went back to sleep somewhere else in the room
-Was awoken again by security
-Went back to sleep under chairs with the resolution that the next person to wake me up was getting stabbed in the jaw (Yea, I'll be the guy in the lobby stabbing jaws. There arn't to many of us)

Sunday (Once again, Sunday accured during the dance but you know what I mean)
-Had a slow waking with little sleep
-Bought pre reg passes for next year
-Wandered a bit more
-Had a ramen feast
-Watched Ghost in the Shell
-Went to the closing cerimonies
-Talked to this one girl from Idaho for awhile
-Idaho apparently blows (to the people in Idaho, you know it to be true)
-Left part way through the cerimony
-Not before collecting a phone number
-Drove back to PLU and ate real food at the UC

Maybe not that quick but that's most of everything we did. There is random time killing filler in there and a few shows I watched that are not mentioned, but for the most part that's everything. I would write this all out in a non-list form but I'm lazy.

The Hobo Experience begins tommorow at 4:45 in the AM tommorow morning and lasts till Sunday evening. It should be fun.

- List 10 things you want to say to people but know you never will.
- Don't say who they are.

(Side note: Everyone seems to use these to vent off on other people so let's try and change that a bit. I personally can't give people compliments, it's not in my nature. It's not cause I don't like you guys it's just something I can't really bring myself to do. So here are some, mostly, non negative comments)

1. Maybe not today and probably not tomorrow, but one day I'd like to see it work out. As my proverbial sports coach always says "There is always next year"
2. I don't really want to see you again even though it's inevitable. It's not because i don't like you, I do, but it's what you represent within myself.
3. Calm down a bit. You don't need to overly present, we can hear you just fine. Stop trying to fit in and just go with the flow of how others are feeling. We're here to and if you want to find us as companions, I suggest you learn that. Do this and you may find other people begin to accept you.
4. We might have been destined for each other, but you chose a path I could not follow. I'm glad that from that path you do stray but I don't know if we'll ever have them cross again.
5. While we don't really converse a whole lot, something tells me I'm going to miss you when you're gone.
6. Once upon a time maybe, I can't really see us now even though I'm afraid that it may still occur.
7. Not everything in life is perfect so stop trying to make it so. Enjoy all these imperfections while you can.
8. I do hope you feel better, but for some reason I just can't express it to you directly.
9. Notice me! I'm here too! I can contribute in my own unique way!
10. I don't know what I really would have done without you. This may be exaggerated, but i feel like you've saved my life.

I think I found a new form of music that is the coolest thing since sliced bread. Rapso, imagine Rap with this thing called "Music" incorporated with it

Yesterdays power outage was the Apocalypse and I can prove it.

Close your eyes (Or for sake of reading maybe like close your eyes after reading each line)

Imagine an Apocalyptic world

Is there power?

That's what I thought

Preliminary Insomnia Report!

Preface:
For those of you who do not know, everyone save like two people, there is an "insomniathon" going on in Hinderlie. This was stirred by the notion that if you've been up for 72 hours you are legally insane. We intend to strive to make the 72 hours.

I am currently in my 21st hour of wakeness and doing fine. These last six hours have been pretty gay (I define "pretty gay" by watching 'Saved', 'But I'm a Cheerleader', and 'Chasing Amy'). Noone has dropped yet but we do not when moods shall change. The sun will rise soon and then it's time for the second breakfast i've had in this waking period. I'll keep you updated as these 72 hours pass.

My mind is so tireless tonight, I don't really understand it. I keep thinking about everything in my life right now. Not in a sad way nessicarily, just in a pondering sort of way. Something tells me that I'm going to be up late tonight.

So today was the first day in a very long time that I looked forward to telling my parents my grades. As I looked through them all I only got one bad grade that they already knew I was struggling in and knew I was getting tutoring for so it's not like I just completely slacked off in the class.
